The Oklahoma State Cowboys have started three different quarterbacks this year due to injuries. So to think that Oklahoma quarterback Landry Jones has never missed a start due to an injury is pretty remarkable.
Since taking over for Sam Bradford after the BYU game in 2009 Landry has started 46-games as a Sooner.
At OU's weekly news conference he was asked how has he stayed so healthy.
He looked around a little puzzled and said, "I don't know." He chuckle a bit and repeated his answer, "I don't know."
Then he leaned on his faith with his answer, "For me it's God keeping me safe on the field. I mean I've taken a lot of big hits around this place. Never had a concussion. Never really been rolled up on. I really attribute that to God and him protecting me out there on the field."
Landry and the Sooners head out on the road this weekend. They'll face the Mountaineers in Morgantown, WV Saturday at 6:00pm.
