In Broken Arrow, pomp and circumstance for a young graduate of the "canine kind".
Ryker is the police department's newest K-9 cop.
Tuesday, he and his partner officially graduated from a three month training course.
Ryker came to Tulsa, all the way from Amsterdam.
His skills include narcotics detection, tracking and protection.
"He's a real congenial dog," says handler Robert Motley. "He's real social. So he's not going to bite at everybody. Just because he wants to bite at everybody. But if you make a threatening move or overly threatening move towards him, he will defend himself and he will defend me."
Broken Arrow has four canine officers.
