GADSDEN - AL -

Seven more mortar rounds were found this week at the former Camp Sibert near Gadsden.
There is no danger to the public.  Crews have been working to remove any mortar rounds in the area left from activity during World War II at Camp Sibert.
The mortars are spread across the site.  Two unexploded rockets were found at Camp Sibert in 2008.
A cleanup of the site is expected to take years to complete.
