Shuttle & traffic plan for Saturday's Magic City Classic

Beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, the Birmingham Police Department will strictly enforce a perimeter surrounding Legion Field. Once this perimeter is in place, vehicles without the proper permit will not be allowed to travel toward Legion Field. Affected areas will include downtown Birmingham, the Legion Field vicinity, including highways and interstates.

Spectators are encouraged to ride a FREE shuttle from 1 of 3 convenient pick-up locations. Shuttles will take you directly to and from Legion Field.

The perimeter is as follows:

From the North: Interstate 20/59

From the East: Center Street

From the South: 3rd Avenue North

From the West: Arkadelphia Road

SHUTTLE STOP #1 - Birmingham Crossplex

Location: 2331 Bessemer Road

Hours: 9:00 AM until 30 minutes after post game concert

 

SHUTTLE STOP #2 - Sheraton Hotel

Location: 2102 Richard Arrington Jr. Blvd. North

Hours: 12:00 PM until 30 minutes after post game concert

 

SHUTTLE STOP #3 - 7th Avenue N. & 23rd Street North

Location: 7th Avenue North & 23rd Street North

Hours: 12:00 PM until 30 minutes after post game concert
