Birmingham Firefighters had their hands full on Wednesday when they were called to extinguish a fire that engulfed a 18-wheeler on Interstate 65 North.

The blaze may have gotten the best of the truck, but the driver was able to escape unharmed. The incident happened around 1 p.m.
