Tuscaloosa police continue to search for hit and run driver that killed a man

TUSCALOOA COUNTY - AL -

A Tuscaloosa man is dead after he was struck in a hit and run by a pick-up truck.

The hit and run happened Sunday night, October 21st, on Greensboro Avenue in Tuscaloosa. Police say Fredrick Townsel was crossing Greensboro Avenue when he was hit. The 57-year-old died at DCH Regional Medical Center Monday morning, October 22nd.

This is a surveillance photo of the possible suspect's vehicle. It has some type of logo or writing on the doors and a ladder rack. There is also damage to the front of the truck.
