Teachers of Birmingham's Ossie Ware Mitchell Middle School are on a mission - to find parents.
Damita Dunn-Pitts is the principal and she says recently, she's been concerned about the lack of parent involvement in the school, after a weak showing at a recent PTA meeting.
Saturday, Dunn-Pitts took 25 on a school bus to tour the school zone's neighborhoods.
It's part of the "School to Home" program, where they went door-to-door to talk with school families in the Eastlake, South Eastlake and Roebuck communities.
