It's all tricks and no treats for one Vestavia Hills community after thieves stole Halloween decorations overnight Tuesday.
They stole inflatables from several yards in the Liberty Park community, and police hope someone with information comes forward.
"The children were terribly upset," said resident Stacy Hurst. "My daughter cried for more than an hour."
Vestavia Hills police said they've received four reports of stolen decorations, but residents said twice as many residents fell victim.
"All of these cases are considered a misdemeanor theft, but a situation like this can quickly escalate to a more serious offense," said Vestavia Hills police Cpl. Shane Ware.
Police have no suspects at this time.
