Person wedged between two rocks at Cherokee Rock Village

The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office said on Tuesday that a person is wedged between two rocks at Cherokee Rock Village after falling from a bluff.

ABC 33/40's Kevyn Stewart is following the story and will have more information as it is made available.

According to cherokeecountyhistory.com, the site remains a popular place for rock climbers, hikers and others who go to enjoy the outdoors. Also, some scenes for the film "Failure to Launch", starring Matthew McConaughey, were filmed at the Cherokee Rock Village.

The park is owned and operated by the Public Parks and Recreation Board of Cherokee County.
