Body found in Hueytown residence, cause of death uncertain

The Jefferson County Coroner's Office has been called to a residence in the Hueytown/Dolomite area of Edwards Street after the body of a deceased person was discovered inside a residence.

The Hueytown Fire Department was called to a residence in the 1700 block of Edwards Street at approximately 10:08 Tuesday morning after a person arrived at the residence and noticed there had been a fire. The fire was extinguished when crews arrived. Upon further inspection of the residence, a deceased person was discovered inside the residence.
