Small earthquake near Anniston this morning.

A magnitude 2.3 earthquake was detected near Anniston just after 8am Monday morning.

The quake was centered at 33.618N, 85.788W - approximately 3 miles east of Hobson City and 4 miles southeast of Anniston.

There are no reports of damage at this time.
