All you need to know about Alabama at Missouri

No. 1 Alabama will get back to defending their title on Saturday at Missouri. No. 1 Alabama will get back to defending their title on Saturday at Missouri.

No. 1 Alabama takes their undefeated record and top-ranked billing on the road to face Missouri on Saturday, and there is potential for bad weather during the game and many players are out with injuries.

The Tigers will attempt the upset without their starting quarterback James Franklin after he sustained a knee injury in the loss to Vanderbilt last week.  Redshirt freshman Corbin Berkstresser will fill in for Franklin.

Also with a knee injury and out for the game is starting center Mitch Morse.  Missouri's much maligned offensive line will have their hands full against the No. 1 defense in the country and will take a offensive-line-by-committee approach up front.  Three sophomores, three redshirt freshmen and a true freshman will rotate in the trenches against Alabama.

The Crimson Tide is dealing with injuries of their own as wide receiver DeAndrew White and running backs Jalston Fowler and Dee Hart are out for the year.  Brent Calloway has been moved from H-back to provide depth at the position.

Starting cornerback Deion Belue is probable for the game after hurting his shoulder against Ole Miss two weeks ago.

Heavy rain and possibly lightning is projected to be in the area right around kickoff.

Kickoff at Memorial Stadium on Faurot Field in Columbia is set for 2:30 p.m. and will be televised by CBS.
