Update: JCSO investigating fatal wreck; identity of victim released

Jefferson County, AL -

Update: 33 year old, Cory Timothy Capps, of Mt. Olive, has been identified as the victim of Wednesday's fatal wreck that occured on Coalburg Road at Archer Lane. It was originally reported that the accident happened on Republic Drive. ABC 33/40 has received updated information indicating the correct location of the wreck was on Coalburg Road.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal wreck on Republic Road this evening. Randy Christian, with the JCSO, says that one person was ejected and one confirmed dead after the two vehicle accident.
