University of Montevallo Founder's Day: Oct. 11

The University of Montevallo will be celebrating Founder's Day on Thursday, October 11.

A program is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. at Palmer Auditorium. Speakers include representatives of the Montevallo Development Cooperative District: Dr. John W. Stewart III, UM president; Hon. Ben McCrory, mayor of Montevallo; and Alex Dudchock, Shelby County manager.

The 15th annual Life Raft Debate will also be held in Palmer Auditorium at 7 p.m. Thursday.
