Inmate escapes custody in Montgomery

The Alabama Department of Corrections said in a release that an inmate from Red Eagle Honor Farm in Montgomery escaped on Friday.

Terrence Stoudemire, who was sentenced in June to serve 42 months in prison for breaking and entering a vehicle, was noticed missing at approximately 9:35 p.m. on Friday night.  Officials considered him to be an escapee after he was not found during a search of the grounds.

All appropriate law enforcement agencies were notified at the time of the escape.
