Tuesday night accident closed Hwy79 N in Center Point

One person is recovering Wednesday morning after a four car accident closed all northbound lanes of Highway 79 in Center Point Tuesday night.

The accident happened when 2 cars collided at the intersection of Hwy79 and Westchester Drive. A woman got out of one of the cars and was hit by a third car. That's when a fourth car collided with the one that hit the woman.

The woman's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
