Several cars overturned on Interstate 20/59 near Ensley

BIRMINGHAM - AL -

Birmingham police and fire are working a multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 20/59 at the Avenue I exit in Ensley.

Several cars are reported overturned on both sides of the interstate. The North and South bound lanes of Interstate 20/59 in this area are closed. Police are detouring traffic around the wreck.

Injuries are unknown at this time.
