A female suspect is in police custody Monday after a shooting in the 300 block of 22nd St SW in Birmingham's westside. A 33 year old, unidentified, male was taken to a local hospital after being shot in the groin.
ABC 33/40 is being told that a 29 year old, unidentified, female rented a vehicle for the victim to use over the weekend. When she returned for the keys to the vehicle something went wrong and the suspect allegedly shot the man in the groin.
