JACKSON, MISS. -

The Shelby County Sheriff's Office reports a Birmingham man is now in custody in Jackson, Mississippi surrounding the death of a 52-year-old Alabaster man. ABC 33/40 reported William David Moore, 52, was found dead inside his Alabaster home Thursday. An autopsy revealed Friday his death was not natural causes, but a homicide.

Moore's black 2003 Hummer HU2 has been located in Jackson, Mississippi. Jackson law enforcement also located Lamario Brown, 30, of Birmingham and took him into custody. Brown has been charged with Receiving Stolen Property first degree by Jackson authorities and is being held without bond. Sheriff's investigators are trying to determine any connection to Moore's death.

Currently, there are no charges against Brown in Shelby County, but investigators will continue to work over the weekend to piece together Thursday and Friday's events.

If you have any information concerning this case, you are urged to call the Shelby County Sheriff's Office at (205) 669-4181.
