Birmingham CrossPlex to host 2013 NCAA Division II Winter Championship

BIRMINGHAM-AL -

Birmingham CrossPlex is set to host the 2013 NCAA Division Winter Championship Festival, NCAA officials announced Thursday.

The event, which will take place March 3-9, will feature track and field, swimming, diving and wrestling. More than 1,100 athletes will participate.

Officials estimate the economic impact to be more than $11 million.
