The proposed ordinance would prevent food trucks from doing business within one block of a restaurant. It would limit hours to between 11:30-and- 1:30, Monday thru Friday, and it would require operators to pay an annual $500 "permit fee."
Councilors decided to make revisions to the ordinance and delayed a vote...
Councilman Johnathan Austin says, "It is only 17 pages long, it won't take you long to go through it and see what kind of changes you would like to see made or have any questions you have about it, and then just be prepared to discuss it at our committee of a whole meeting."
This proposed ordinance is expected to be on the agenda next week.
