College fair for Birmingham students

BIRMINGHAM - AL -

Some Birmingham high school seniors may know exactly where they want to go to college by the end of the day on September 18.

A scholarship, college and career fair will be held at Boutwell Auditorium from 8:00am until 1:00pm.

Representatives from more than 40 colleges and universities from across the southeast, as well as the craft and trade industries, will be at the fair.

Students will be able to apply to schools. Also, $20 million in scholarships will be up available for students to apply for.

The event is sponsored by Birmingham City Schools, Mission Birmingham Transformation Strategies and Infinite Scholars Program.
