Update: Search continues for 15 y/o Ailane Mariz Lander, mother could be involved

Update:
The girl is described as 5'5" tall and about 140 pounds. Authorities believe Lander and Partin may be traveling with Lander's mother (Julie Bethke) and 5 siblings.

Lander was in custody of state welfare officials at the time she was taken, and neither adult had the legal right to take her.

A missing child alert has been issued by the state Department of Public Safety. A 15 year old girl was reported missing, after she was apparently kidnapped in Dothan while being taken to a doctor's appointment at Southeast Alabama Medical Center.

Ailane Mariz Lander was apparently abducted Monday by a man identified as Charles Partin. The Department of Public Safety says Partin was driving a light blue 1994 Mercury Villager, with Alabama license plate #34B26K3.
