Towards the end of the demolition of Arkansas today, Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron was seen with a wrap around his throwing hand, causing some to be concerned about the extent of the injury.
McCarron injured his hand right before halftime when one of his own lineman stepped on it while he recovered a fumbled snap .
Nick Saban said after the game that it was just a bruise.
"He got stepped on the fumbled snap on the goal line, but he's fine,"
Saban said. "He played
with it. It didn't bother him. He could have continued to play if we
needed him to. Its bruised."
Alabama fans can breathe a sigh of relief.
