Men from divorced families may have a higher chance of suffering a stroke.
New medical research indicates adult men have a *three times* higher chance of having a stroke, if their parents were divorced before they reached 18 years old.
Scientists say they cannot pinpoint a reason for the connection; but, say, it could be due to an increase cortisol, a hormone created by stress.
Research suggests it could affect how boys react to stress as they get older. The study found girls were not affected.
