Talladega, AL -
The City of Talladega will receive a $362,490.00 grant from
the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs, Community Development
Block Grant Large City Fund. Talladega
will be responsible for providing $45,000 which approximately 11% of the cost
of the project.
The grant will allow the city to address longstanding
flooding issues in the Frazier's Farm area of the City. The project includes
the modification of ditches along Baker Street, Elbert Davis Street, Moon
Street, Lane Street, Long Street, and Frazier Street.
The budget for the project is estimated at $405,490.00 and
will benefit 79 households and 124 residents.
