Community health fair set at Red Crescent Clinic of Alabama

Saturday, September 15, American Pakistani Physicians of North America-Alabama (APPNA) and the Birmingham Islamic Society will offer a free community health fair. The hours are from 9:00am to 1:00pm at the BIS Hoover Crescent Islamic Center at 2524 Hackberry Lane in Hoover.

The event is part of a nationwide APPNA effort, "APPNA Cares Day." There will be adult health screenings for diabetes and heart risk as well as flu shots.

APPNA is a nonprofit, professional, nonpolitical, equal opportunity organization to promote healthcare, research, education, and humanitarian activities.
