Road is open after morning accident

SHELBY COUNTY - AL -

Shelby County Highway 11 is open.

An early morning accident closed  Shelby County Highway 377, also known as Mountain Crest Road for several hours.  All traffic is being re-routed at the intersections of Shelby County 11 at Old Highway 280 and Shelby County Highway 11 at Shelby County 36.

The roadway will be closed for some time and this release will be updated as soon as it re-opens.  All motorists in the area are encouraged to drive cautiously and follow the directions of the deputies on-scene.
