Toomer's for Tuscaloosa Collects Donations for Isaac Victims

"Toomer's for Tuscaloosa" is accepting donations for residents in Alabama affected by Isaac. The group will be collecting items Friday from 4:00- 9:00 p.m. in the JCPenny parking lot in Alabaster.

You can also drop off items at the Johnny Ray's off Highway 52 from 10 a.m.- 10 p.m.

Items will be collected at the Wal-Mart on Highway 280 in Inverness from noon- 4 p.m.

Here's a list of the items needed: feminine hygiene supplies, paper products- paper towels, plates, bottled water, toilet paper, Gatorade or PowerAde, any kind of drinks, non-perishable foods, snacks, charcoal, plastic utensils, first aid supplies- Neosporin, Band-Aids, Benadryl, snacks, bread, hotdog and hamburger buns, cleaning products and canned food items.
