1/2 jar stuffed olives, pieces, chopped
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. Hellmann's mayonnaise
1 teaspoon lemon pepper (optional)
1/2 c. chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
16 slices of bread (white or wheat)
Mix olives, cream cheese and mayo well. (If it is too thick still to spread well, add just a tablespoon or so of the olive juice and mix again).
Chop the nuts into small pieces, similar in size to Panko Bread Crumbs. Put in a small plate and hold.
Spread the mixture onto 8 slices of bread. Be sure to spread evenly to the edges of the bread. Place the top pieces of bread on the Sammie and align the bread so the edges match as close to perfect as possible.
Using a bread knife or electric knife, trim off just the darker outside crust then cut into halves or quarters in a diagonal shape (no squared).
Tap the long edge of each Sammie into the plate of chopped nuts to decorate and add crunch to each bite!
You can wrap and chill or serve immediately.
