Vernon man is killed in single vehicle wreck near Aliceville

Pickens County, AL -

William Stanford, of Vernon, was killed Friday morning after hitting a horse that was in the roadway. The 1996 International he was driving left the roadway and overturned.

Stanford was ejected from his vehicle.

The accident happened on Alabama 17 two miles north of Aliceville.
