"I thought police officers were suppose to help you, not kill you," says Deborah Robinson, mother of Calvin Lee Robinson.
ABC 33/40 was one of the first on the scene when Calvin Lee Robinson Jr. was shot. Chuck Hagler with Hueytown police tells us Robinson and Isaiah Brown were involved in a drug related call which led to a police officer shooting and killing Robinson.
Deborah Robinson says, "He was found sitting in a car dead, with a bullet in the back of his head."
Family, friends and loved ones say Robinson didn't deserve to die.
Travis Robinson, Calvin's brother says, "Everybody in the community knows that my brother is no type of drug dealer, he doesn't carry a gun, he doesn't mean harm to anybody."
His father, Calvin Lee Robinson Sr. says, "I hate to see him go like that, that's all I got to say." His mother says Calvin had $5 in his pocket and he had the house keys with him. And as the family mourns, more questions come to mind. Questions and answers that wont bring Robinson back, but will rest their hearts.
Family and friends are in the process of planning a candlelight vigil for Calvin Lee Robinson.
