Jasper man arrested after trying to bribe Sheriff’s Deputies

Jefferson County, AL -

A 24 year old Jasper man finds himself behind bars after being arrested by Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies.  The man was pulled over and arrested for an outstanding warrant.  During an inventory of the suspects' vehicle deputies discovered oxycodone, hydromorphone, hydrocodone, and $3530 in cash.  The man offered to give the deputies the cash for his freedom.  The deputies refused.  In addition to an outstanding warrant the suspect is additionally charged with Bribery, Trafficking Oxycodone, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Driving While License Revoked.

The man has been transported to the Jefferson County Jail.
