Are you ready for the next natural disaster?
Governor Robert Bentley announced the launch of new Ready Alabama initiatives that will help people across the state.
It is set up to reach more people through the web. You can go to ReadyAlabama.gov
The push will help connect people with information and resources to plan for natural disasters. Governor Bentley says he thinks the initiative will save lives.
Digital billboards are also part of the program. In an emergency they are set up to get the word out about the disaster.
Ready Alabama is administered by the Governor's Office of Faith- Based and Volunteer Service.
