The Alabama Department of Transportation is planning a moving operation for the installation of striping and markers on I-459 northbound from US-31 to US-280.
As the work is completed in the northbound lanes, work will continue in the southbound lanes.The roadwork will begin at 8:00pm Tuesday August 21, and is expected to be completed in three to four weeks.
All travel lanes will be reopened to traffic no later than 5 a.m. each morning.
