ABC 33/40 has learned that Sylacauga's mayor, Sam H. Wright, has died. Officials with the Talladega County Sheriff's Department is reviewing the mayor's death. Right now, they do not suspect foul play. Flags were flying at half-staff in Sylacauga Friday evening. Mayor Wright served at his post for 8 years. In May, he announced that he would not run for re-election.
