Part of what the April 27th tornado destroyed has been rebuilt in North Smithfield.
On Saturday, residents and firefighters will dedicate the restored fire station on North Smithfield Drive. Sixteen months ago, the roof collapsed in the storm, destroying a fire truck and thousands of dollars worth of firefighting equipment.
The repairs cost almost $250,000. An open house is planned from 10a.m. until 4p.m.
