AT&T Launches "It Can Wait" Campaign

Phone company, AT&T, Inc. has unveiled their new website, www.itcanwait.com.  It is part of the "It Can Wait" campaign.  The so-called anti-texting while driving campaign launched in 2010 to educate consumers, and specifically teens, on the dangers of texting on the road.  The campaign provides public service announcements, targeted advertising against the practice of texting while driving and an educational tool kit to schools and companies.

AT&T President Randall Stephenson encourages all consumers to sign the pledge on the website not to text and drive. He has approved the national advertising campaign and a call to action for consumers to make texting while driving socially unacceptable.

"APCO supports AT&T's commitment to educating consumers on the dangers of texting while driving and for providing the tools to improve safe driving practices," said APCO President Gregg Riddle.
