On Saturday, August 18, from noon until 4PM, the Brook Highland Books-A-Million will be hosting the Hoover Police Department for an event with 10% of every purchase going to the Hoover Police Explorer Program.
The Hoover Police Department will be bringing a helicopter, a Command Bus, and a Porsche. Parents will have the opportunity to have their children fingerprinted by HPD.
The Explorer program at the Hoover Police Department is currently funded only by donations.
