Binnie Miles, with the Birmingham
Water Works Board, has confirmed to ABC 33/40 that nine employees were fired
from their positions on Monday.
According to BWWB General Manager Mac Underwood, the employees were terminated
for "violating board policies."
Sgt. Johnny Williams, with BPD, tells
ABC 33/40 that there is an ongoing investigation into the Birmingham Water
Works involving the Fraud Unit of the Birmingham Police Department.
