Better nutrition is on the way to school lunch rooms in Homewood and Mountain Brook..

It's thanks to a cooking lesson today from Samford University's Chef Chris Fazna...

He showed off ways to cook some healthy new menu items.

More than 60 cafeteria workers from schools in the area met at Homewood Middle School today for the healthy lesson..

The idea is to get more veggies and other healthier items on school cafeteria menus.
