Fairfield police investigating overnight homicide

Fairfield police are investigating the city's latest homicide after a body was discovered this morning in the parking lot of Legacy Mall in the 6500 block of Aaron Aronov Drive.

The victim, identified as 52-year-old Jimmy Hudson, Jr., was shot several times. His body was discovered around 5:50 am.

Police said the investigation revealed robbery as a possible motive. Investigators are following several leads, and a person of interest has been identified.
