It is day two of high school football workouts across the state of OKlahoma. Wednesday we stopped in at Coweta High School where the Tigers are hoping to improve on last years 6-5 mark.
Coach Bubba Burcham enters his fifth season in Coweta.
Last year the tigers were right there in every game they played. Four of the five losses were by 7 points or less.
Giving this years team a lot of optimism for the upcoming season.
"We always have high expectations. Our goal is to always win the district championship. We're going to build off last year with a big senior class.", Bubba Burcham said. "A lot of guys played as sophomores were we went 9-3. We feel we had a good squad last year with just a few pieces missing. Hopefully we developed those pieces in the off-season and we're ready to go."
The Tigers open the season on August 31st against arch-rival Wagoner.
