    Getting rid of cable doesn't mean getting rid of your entertainment options.

   Getting local channels is easy with newer DTV antennae.  Some are powered, to help bring in more signals.  A new crop of them uses the USB port that many people have on their TV, but few actually use to look at digital content.  That means powering your antenna doesn't take up another power plug.

    Getting movies and other streaming content is a snap with devices such as the Roku box.  These HDMI-connected devices bring in content from providers such as Netflix, Amazon on demand, and more.  Some people watch this streaming content on their computers- but the devices bridge the gap from your home network to your TV.
