Scottie's Bleu Cheese Dip

For blue-cheese dip:

  • 1 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 bunch celery, cut into sticks




For Buffalo Wing Sauces:  (Makes 1 cup)

Mild Buffalo Sauce

2/3 cup butter, melted

1/3 cup hot sauce


Medium Buffalo Sauce

1/2 cup butter, melted

1/2 cup hot sauce


Hot Buffalo Sauce

⅓ cup butter, melted

⅔ cup hot sauce




  1. Combine melted butter and hot sauce in mixing bowl with wire whisk.


  1. You can use it right away by putting your cooked chicken in a bowl that is big enough to pour the sauce over the chicken and toss to coat.


  1. Or put in a sealed glass or plastic container and keep refrigerated for up to 2 weeks.  When you want to use it, loosen lid and microwave in 30 second increments until warm throughout.  Stir to re-combine.
