Homewood Police warns against possible fraudulent sales - ABC 33/40 - Birmingham News, Weather, Sports

The Homewood Police Department has received reports of a white male going door to door selling steaks. The City of Homewood requires door to door vendors to have a license from the city before beginning sales.

If someone comes to your door selling something, please call the Homewood Police Department at 911 or 332-6200 (non emergency number). An Officer will be dispatched to be sure the sales person is legitimate and in compliance with city ordinance.
