Thieves have been striking the
Hollywood, Hwy 31, and Old Montgomery Highway areas of Homewood recently. According to the Homewood Police Department,
the burglars have gained entry by forcing open doors or breaking windows. Most of the burglaries have occurred during
the day and on weekdays. Items reported stolen
have been silverware, jewelry and electronics.
Police have descriptions of three
possible suspects. A skinny white male, approximately
six feet tall, wearing jeans and a white t-shirt using an orange back pack
blower. The second possible suspect is a
stocky bald white male walking in the area.
The third possible suspect is a large black male driving a tan Cadillac and
knocking on doors claiming to be a cable repair man.
