BIRMINGHAM - AL -
Those who got a new hairdo
Saturday also had the opportunity to donate to a special cause. Paul Mitchell XCell Academy and Sports
Clips salons all participated in the Third Annual "Shear Kindness"
haircut-a-thon. The businesses donated a portion of their proceeds to the
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama.
Ronald McDonald House provides temporary housing for sick
or injured children and their families who must travel to Birmingham for
medical care.
One-hundred percent of donations went to benefit the Ronald
McDonald House and to provide funding for the new Ronald McDonald family room
at DCH Regional Medical Center.
