Lightning causes fire at Ensley church

BIRMINGHAM - AL -

Birmingham fire dispatch tells ABC 33/40 firefighters are working a church fire at 2001 Slayden Avenue in Ensley. The fire was reportedly caused by a lightning strike. Firefighters were dispatched to the church just after 5pm. It took firefighters about 45 minutes to get the fire under control. No injuries have been reported.
