Breaking news from the ABC 33/40 newsroom.
Moody Police have taken a man into custody in connection to random shootings on Highway 78 and Kelly Creek Road.
It happened late Tuesday night. At least 2 vehicles were struck by bullets. No personal injuries were reported.
Highway 78 was closed down while authorities searched for the suspect. Police say the man they believe is responsible was carrying a pistol.
He has been taken to the St. Clair County jail, but authorities are waiting to release his name until formal charges are filed.
